 2.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits B-1, D-215, D-227, D-229,
 D-254, D-258, D-259, D-260, D-263, D-264, D-266, D-271, D-272, D-273, D-274,
 D-275, D-276, D-277, E-301, and E-302 revealed the presence of human blood of
 the International Blood Group Type A.
 
 3.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits D-36NB and D-37NB revealed
 the presence of human blood of the International Blood Group Type O.
 
 4.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibit D-127 revealed the presence
 of human blood of the International Blood Group Type AB.
 
 5.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibit D-67NB revealed the presence
 of human blood.  In the opinion of the examiner it is a mixture of the International
 Blood Group Types A and O.
 
 6.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibit D-60NB revealed the presence
 of human blood of the International Blood Group Type A.  Further examination
 of other human blood stains revealed the presence of a mixture of human blood
 which, in the opinion of the examiner, is of the International Blood Group Types
 A and O.
 
 7.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibit D-41NB revealed the presence
 of human blood of the International Blood Group Type O.  Further examinations of
 other human blood stains indicated the presence of the International Blood Group
 Type A or Type O.
 
 8.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits B-2, D-267, and D-270
 revealed the presence of human blood.  Further examinations of same indicated the

 9.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits D-216, D-255, D-261,
 D-265, D-278 revealed the presence of human blood.  Further examinations of
 same indicated the presence of the International Blood Group Type A or Type
 AB.
 
 10.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibit D-251 revealed the pres-
 ence of human blood.  Further examinations of same indicated the presence of
 the International Blood Group Type B or Type AB.
 
 11.  Further blood typing examinations of the Exhibits cited in paragraphs
 6 thru 10 were precluded due to the paucity of the stains.
 
 12.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits C, D-217, D-250, D-268,
 and D-269 revealed the presence of human blood.  Blood typing examinations were
 precluded due to the paucity of the stain.
 
 13.  Examinations of the red-brown stains of Exhibits D-240, D-244, D-248, and
 D-262 indicated the presence of blood.  Confirmatory examinations were precluded
 due to the paucity of the stain.
 
 14.  Examinations of Exhibits D-241, D-242, D-243, D-245, D-246, D-247, D-249,
 D-252, and D-253 did not reveal the presence of any blood stains.
 
 15.  Examination of Exhibits A-1 and A-2 found them to be grossly similar in
 type, color, and size to the wood of Exhibit A.  A study of the annual growth
 rings of Exhibit A showed that Exhibit A was not originally a part of Exhibits
 A-1 or A-2.
 
 16.  Examination of Exhibits A-3 and A-4 found same to be different in type
 and other physical characteristics to the wood of Exhibit A.
 
 17.  Examination of pain chips removed from Exhibit A-4 found same to be
 grossly similar in color, texture and chemical composition to the paint of
 Exhibits A and E-203.
 
 18.  It is the opinion of the examiner that the paint of Exhibit A-4 and the
 paint of Exhibits A and E-203 could have had a common source of origin.
 
 19.  Examination of Exhibits E-300, E-301, E-302, and E-303 revealed the presence
 of fibers identical in type, color, denier, twist, and all other physical charac-
 termistics to the fibers of the pajama jacket, Exhibit D-210.
 
 20.  It is the opinion of the examiner that the fibers present in Exhibits
 E-300, E-301, E-302, and E-303 could have originated from Exhibit D-210.
 
 21.  Examination of Exhibit E-302 revealed the presence of one human head hair
 grossly similar in all physical characteristics to the head hair of Collette

 22.  It is the opinion of the examiner that the hair present in Exhibit E-302
 could have originated from the head of Collette MacDONALD.
 
 23.  Examination of Exhibits E-301 and E-303 revealed the presence of wood
 splinters, identical in type, color, texture, and all other physical character-
 istics to the wood of Exhibit A.
 
 24.  It is the opinion of the examiner that the wood splinters present in
 Exhibits E-301 and E-303 could have originated from Exhibit A.

 25.  Examination of paint chips removed from
 E-305found same to be grosslysimilar in color, texture, and chemical composition to the paint of Exhibits
 A, A-4, and E-203.

 26.  It is the opinion of the examiner that the paint of Exhibit
 E-305and thepaint of Exhibit A, A-4, and E-203 could have a common source of origin.
 
 27.  Examination of several hairs removed from Exhibit E-304 identified same
 as animal hair (horse).  Human head hair was not present on this Exhibit.
 
 28.  Examination of Exhibits D-245, H-35NB, H-38NB, H-44NB, H-45NB, H-46NB,
 H-47NB, H-54NB, and H-73MBR did not reveal the presence of sufficient powder
 residues for chemical comparison.
 
 29.  Visual examination of the white tablet contained in Exhibit H-6 identified
 same as Kolantyl Wafer.  Kolantyl is used as a peptic ulcer medication and for
 upset stomachs.

 30.  Comparison of the latent prints developed on Exhibits previously identified,
 with the record prints submitted revealed:
 
 a.  Exhibits P thru T - No matching impressions.
 b.  Exhibit U-1 - The latent footprint was made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD's
 left foot.
 c.  Exhibit U-2 - One latent fingerprint was made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD.
 One latent palm print was made by Cpt J. MacDONALD.
 d.  Exhibit U-3 - Eight latent fingerptints were made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD.
 Two latent palm prints were made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD and
 one latent palm print was made by Cpt J. MacDONALD.
 e.  Exhibit U-4 - Two latent fingerprints were made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD.
 One latent palm print was made by Cpt J. MacDONALD.
 f.  Exhibit U-5 - Seven latent fingerprints were made by Cpt J. MacDONALD
 and two latent fingerprints were made by Mrs. C. MacDONALD.
 One latent palm print was made by Cpt J. MacDONALD.
 g.  Exhibit U-6 - One latent fingerprint was made by an investigator.
 
 31.  The remaining latent prints were not identified.  However, due to lack of
 complete clarity in some areas of the record finger and palm prints of Cpt and
 Mrs. MacDONALD, a complete elimination/identification could not be made.
 
 32.  The foot impression, appearing on Exhibit D-215, matches in general shape,
 outline, and size the record footprint of Cpt J. MacDONALD.  However, due to
 absence of individual ridge characteristics in the photographs taken of this
 Exhibit, a positive identification could not be made by the examiners.
