Paragraph 56:  Examination of Exhibits E50, E52NB, E57NB, E123, E221, E222, E227 and E229 did not reveal the presence of any hair grossly similar to the known hairs of Exhibits E305 through E313.

Exhibit D227 is the throw rug itself, while Exhibit E227 is hairs, fibers and miscellaneous debris removed from the rug. The CID Findings for Exhibit D227 refer to hairs from Colette and Kimberley MacDonald, which are not shown in the findings for Exhibit E227. It is not known why the hairs were shown in the findings for D227 instead of E227.
